Enable Bizhub C458 Printing
Prerequisites
- Bizhub C458 connected to the same network
- Latest printer drivers installed
- Administrator access to configure browser settings

Configuration Steps
- Chrome/Edge: Enable "Background printing" in chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments
- Firefox: Install "Bizhub Print Extension" from addons.mozilla.org (if available, manual search may be required)
- Safari: Enable "Print from any source" in Preferences → Websites → Pop-ups (Note: This setting name might vary or not directly control printing behavior.)
- Add printer IP to trusted sites in browser security settings (if applicable)
- Enable cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) in printer admin panel (if applicable, consult printer manual)
Important Notes
- Use IP address instead of hostname for reliable connections
- Configure port 9100 for raw TCP printing (consult network administrator)
- Update firmware to latest version (G00-W1 or newer)
- Enable "Web Service" in printer's network settings
- To print to "KONICA MINOLTA bizhub C458 PCL (fe80::212c:6fff:febaa:0%40) UPD" or any specific printer, you must select it manually in your browser's native print dialog that appears. Web applications cannot pre-select printers for security reasons.
